20 years anniversary – Technique classes and workshops2012 marks the 20th anniversary of a contemporary dance education in Denmark and at the same time heralds a new beginning with the coming organizational reform at, what will be, The Danish National School of Performing Arts from the 1st of August. The acting and dance departments join in a new centre, and we invite you to join us in a week of open house celebration from Monday the 27th of August to Saturday the 1st of September, inclusive. As a participant you can take part in technique classes and workshops; an interactive seminar and discussions on the development of the education in dance; and a reception and performance (separate registration for each). Open technique classes and workshopsDuring the week from Monday – Thursday, the daily training at the school will be open for participants from outside to join in classes with the school’s students. From 10.00-12.00 in the morning, technical training and improvisation is taught by Jeremy Nelson, Francis Stansky, Poul Laursen and Bo Madvig followed by a variety of workshops in the afternoons from 13.00-15.30 with Kitt Johnson, Don* Gnu, Lars Dahl, and Forsworks.
